Study Areas 

Analysis and guidance for the project is broken into five Geographic Focus Area (GFA) planning teams. The GFAs for the Iron County Safety Action Plan are Cedar City, Enoch City, East Iron County, West Iron County, and I-15. GFA planning teams are comprised of engineering, planning, law enforcement, and emergency services representatives from local cities, and towns, as well as the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT).

GFA planning teams include representation from each of the 4-Es of traffic safety: engineering, enforcement, emergency services, and education. GFA planning teams will meet monthly during the development of the Iron County Safety Action Plan. These dates will be announced as the project progresses.
